Bush is less popular than his war, only 36% approve of the job he's doing, making him twice as popular as his VP, so he's got that going for him, which is nice
PRINCETON, N.J., March 14 (UPI) -- U.S. President George Bush's approval rating has fallen to a record low of 36 percent in a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll published Tuesday.
The decline is showing mostly among independents, with a substantial decline also found among Republicans. Democrats show little change, the Princeton, N.J.-based polling company said.
A year ago, 46 percent of independents approved of Bush's performance, whereas the most recent poll shows 23 percent approval. Among Republicans, the decline was16 points, from 91 percent to 75 percent.
Among Democrats, Bush's approval was 13 percent.
The national telephone survey of 1,001 adults was done March 10-12, and the results have a 3-point margin of error.
Is beating the VP even a challenge? Whatch out, he may shoot you!!
