Who would you be?

A very dear pen-pal recently asking me a very difficult question. I have thought about it non-stop for quite some time now. The question at first appears to be very easy and simple. "If you could be anyone in the world, at anytime in history, who would you be, and why?" What a wonderful question, and yet it has plagued me for weeks now. At first I thought of the great minds, the inventors, the artists, the composers. Then I thought about hero's, people who showed bravery and courage under odds that would make most of us shrink away in fear and self preservation. But no matter who I considered, I would slowly start to pick them apart. They all had flaws. So, now I ask myself, is there anyone in the world that we can look up too, and aspire to be like? We are human, and by nature are not, can not, will never be, perfect. We all have flaws, and make mistakes. I like to think, that if given the choice, I would pick to be someone who saves man kind from a horrable disease, or prevents a war, or some other atrocity. Or someone who shares his gifts to bring joy and enlightment to the world. But I am not. If given the choice, I would most likely choose to be a player. Lets face it, I am a guy, I worship women, and would love to be one of those guys that is surrounded by as many of them as possable. Sadly, I must be honest with you, and myself. I would turn down the chance to prevent the horrable, for the chance of getting laid by many a lovely women. I know, what a pig, but like I already said, none of us are perfect. So, who would you choose to be? Now on a more serous note, I considered some people of a relougis nature also. The pope? Fuck him!!! He's dead, and I am fucking glad that he is. I just wish I could dance on his mother fucking grave. Close minded, bigget that he, and most catholics are. Then I considered someone who I respect dearly. The dahli lahma(sp?) and it would be very cool to be that wise, and be at peace with the universe like that. But then again, I must face my more animalistic feelings. Hot girls are not ligning up to do him, and so I must move on.

Religion

Oh I know this is such a taboo subject, and all of you who know me, know it's a long over due rant. So lets get started with the bitching. Why do we, I mean the vast majority of people in the world, feel it is necassary to cling to some form of religion to make us feel safe and secure. Why do we need this crutch to go on with our feeble exsistance? Why can't we just say "shit happens" and call it good. But no we must explain everything, and have some answer to cling to, even if all science, and well lets face it, common sense, can shoot a billion holes into these "religous experts" explanaitions for why shit happens. So were should we start today. Lets see, how about my least favorite religion, the ones who deserve the most bashing in my enlightened opinion, the mother fucking, cock sucking, hipocritical, jack asses, the cock whore, son of a bitch christains. Yes, you stupid mother fuckers who cling to your holly book, but only when it suits your small minded, my way is the only way, burn in hell if you disagree with me, fucked up views. You don't believe in jeses? your going to hell, you didn't go to church last sunday? your going to hell, you didn't tithe? your definetly going to hell!! A guy stumbles out of the desert, claiming to be the son of god, all these goat ropers with zero education believe him, pass down story after story from one generation to the next, till finally they get written down, and we go around preaching this shit now? Claiming it is the holly truth? What are we smoking here? We have stories that contradict each other, stories that describe a vile and vicous, mean, bully of a god, yet they go around talking about how forgiving and loving he is. Lets take into consideration the theory of "The vapor barrier". This is the explaination of were all the water that caused the flood of noah. This idea says that there was a large vapor barrier surrounding the earth. Now, scientists on both sides of the religous spectrum have tried to figure out if this was possable. The concullsions, to keep that much water, in a vapor state, would require a temperture of well OVER 200*F. How many of you believe that we could live on a planet with that kind of tempatures, ok everyone that raised there hands, please leave, your fucking STUPID!!!!! And your bringing the rest of us down. The humidity caused by that much vapor, and high heat would make it 100% impossable for the human lung to operate. We would litterally drowned from breathing in the air. Not to mention we would be medium rare from the heat. Well, lets look at my favorite, Jesus, wow stumble out of the dessert, do a few beginer magic trics for the slack jawed yokals, and suddenly your the fucking messiah. Wow, I want that job. I can preach some hollier then thou bullshit. You know today if someone does that he is called a loon, or if he actually gets some followers, he is called a cult leader. What's the difference? How do we know that if he did live, that he doesn't come back every few hundred years to check on us, yet we persecute him, and chase him off like he is the fucking devil. Christianinty, and Islam, were male created, male concieved, creations, for the better meant of MAN kind. It is a tool for men to make power, stay in power, and control the underlings, and laws surrounding them. Any thing that happens, that the men in the power seats feel threatened by, use there religion to devalue, and undermine the threat. Womens rights, Gays, books/ideas that they disagree with. Were in the bible does it say that book burning is a religous right? I don't remember anything about gay bashing, and you know I am pretty sure there is something in there about all people being created in gods form, so wouldn't we all be even,,,,,,well I gues only if your a man. Virgin Birth,,, well isin't this a interesting topic, lets see, uneducated farm girl gets her freak on, doesn't want to tell the guy she is being forced to marry she just did the stable boy till he can't walk, and now she has one in the oven. Oh what is a girl to do. Get stoned to death, or claim it was a act of god, lets see, painful slow death, or small white lie,,,,,,, well I guess we know what she picked. Now, people claim that Jesus's enemies recorded his actions, and that proves he did live. Well no one is arguing that, but what should be brought to light is the fact that those records don't say anything about miracles, they talk of a trouble maker, and of a cheap con-man. Well, there might be a little more truth to that then some of use wish to admit. Lets face facts people. Some of you are clinging to a 6000 year old story, of small minded beleifs and fairy tales. Lets pull our heads out of our asses, and find the true light. If god was real, why doesn't he show himself? Now i know the bible has a billion vague little one liners as to why, but fuck people, he's god, he can do what ever the fuck he wants!!! If he wants to show up at the 7/11 with Elvis, and share a super big gulp with him, he fucking can. He's god!!! I'm not telling you to abandone all hope, we all need hope, and a purpose, but don't fucking waste your life following a trail that is just going no wear. Stop clinging to your bible, like a drunk clinging to a lamp post. Get off the trail to no wear, and start thinking for yourselves. Find your own hope, and goals. Stop being mislead by mother fuckers like billy Grahme, and other fucks on TV preaching about shit that doesn't excist. Make your own choices, READ, LEARN, THINK!!!!!!! OK, I am poor, and I really want a Ipod. College

I work for a rather large company, and before that I worked for a huge company. Both companies had one thing in common, and I see this trend really growing in american business. They hire anyone with a college degree to run the company and work in the divisional level or above. Now, when that is the only qualification you seek for a person that is going to be making serious choices for the direction of your company, I get very worried about the futue of America. I work for a company that is very involved in technology, wouldn't you want someone who actually has some hands on experience making the serious choices. Yet, every company I see, has people who have never even been in the field, never gotten there hands durty what so ever. I recently took a class for work, the book we used was written by some stooge from the corporate office. She came to take notes on how we liked the book, so they could make revisions before it was used to train new hires. As we went through we found lots of errors, but what was most allarming, was the fact that the person, who wrote the book on how to properly use the tools, and the safety techniques we were to use, had never even seen the tools in question. Never seen a picture, never held them, or used them. I have a friend that worked for Intel, in Gresham, OR. Every few weeks they got another supervisor. One week in was a kid fresh out of college with a degree in agricultre, the next week a degree in forestry, ect, ect. What do those degrees have to do with making computer chips? What ever happened to starting out with a company, and working your way up? What happened to having people run your company that actually know how it works. It is now almost impossable to start at the bottom and work your way up to the top. This is a real sad state, and it is no wonder why we are loosing our jobs to over seas companies. We pay people more then they are worth, and hire based on there degrees, not on there skills. We need to take back our country, and our jobs before it is to late.

Survivor

Oh, yes, once again it is time for another brain numbing season of reality shows. I must admit that I have watched survivor in the past, but lets face facts, am I the only human on the planet that is sick of reality shows??!! You can actually hear your brain cells committing suicide while watching some of these things. How many fucking islands can we strand castaways on, and how many sick discusting things can we make them eat, till we just say enough is enough. Lets make survivor a real interesting program. Lets drop them off in the Yukatan in winter, and lets see how long the bikini clad contestants last. How about smearing them in seal blood, and then having them run across a polar bears teritory, and see who makes it to the finish line. That is real survivor. Or how about next time there in a jungle, you can have everyone wade out into the water and urinate, and see who gets to keep there winkies at the end of the show. And who has to have some parasites removed from theres. Instead of a camp, how about a 100 mile hike up the amazon river basin, with 50lbs. ruck sacks with a real tight time margin. No more voting off people, if the animals get them, or they get so infected with parasites, or my favorite malaria, and they can't continue, there out. Oh, oh how about this, re-trace the jorney of Dr. Livingston, from the Island of Madagascar, all the way to Lake Victoria, but this time with out all the portors to carry everything. Sure there are some unstable governments in Africa, but that just makes it more of a challenge. I say if no one dies, its not a real show about survivor now is it? If eveyone survives, then whats the fucking point? Oh, how about survivor east L.A.? 20 white Klan members dropped off on a friday night in Compton, must survive for 10 days and nights , and make it out alive. Oh, my favorite, Christian survivor, were 20 devoute christians are dropped off in the Islamic city of our choice, and must survive 20 days, and nights. Points are scored by conversions and lack of brutal beatings recieved. I have no problem seeing someone winning a million dollars for spending 20 days is iran, and getting 3 conversions. That person trully deserves that money. It's not like they were just laying on a beach in a bikini back stabbing each other. And on the plus side, if no one makes it out alive on any of our games, well, is that really much of a loss for our society? Just think of it as thinning the hurd, in a fun and entertaining way.

Life is complete

Well, I can honestly say I have seen everything now. I work with a guy that i constantly changing his facial hair. Like every few days he has changed his side burns, goatee, or something, and always makes a big deal out of it. My life is now complete, I have finally found a guy that can't even get playing with himself right!!

Birthdays, we all have them, some look forward to them, others try to forget about them. I believe my mom has been 29 for about 32 years now. I think it might be time to face reality. Anywho, when the mile stone years came, they were no big deal. 13, who cares if you are in the teens, big deal. 16, well I had been driving thence I was 10, so being able to do it leagally was nice, but not a real big deal. 18, vote, join the milatary,,,,,well lets just say those aren't real big deals to most teens. 21,, well I vaguly remember my teen years thence most memories were seen through a nice pair of beer goggles, it was not a big deal. Going to a bar was actually a bit of a turn off. Smokey, meat markets with over priced drinks. Yeah. Just not quite as fun as drinking on a logging road with your buddies, diving into the bushes everytime you hear a car coming. Or trashing your buddies house when his parents are out of town, and he invites a "few" friends over for a social gathering. 25, well a quarter of a centuary is cool. I mean it is big deal, if you live in the 1800's we would be the old wise men of the town. Married, with kids, and waiting on grandkids. But lets face it, today, its a pretty common event, and not a real big deal. Now as I stair down the barrel of the big three zero, I feel,,, well I really don't know how to feel. It's like walking down a dark tunnel and naught knowing what is at the end of the tunnel, just knowing there is a door there that you have to go through, no matter what is on the other side. No matter what, you can't go back. I feel like apart of me is dying, and being left behind. Suddenly I feel like the "care free" life I have lead must be cut, and left in the past. It just looks so bleak ahead. I keep catching myself trying to do things that I really should not be doing. Not acting my age. I don't know why 30 looks so bleak to me, I've always acted my age, or actually more mature then my age, but 30 just seems like you have to make a break from your child hood, your dreams. Maybe I am going through a mid life crisis early, I am not sure. I just catch myself looking at girls much younger, I catch my self flirting. Feeling bored with my life. Looking at hobbies that never interested me before. Hobbies that are a bit dangerous. I feel that I have let a lot of opertunities pass me by, and now I regrete it, and am trying to make up for those things. I feel that there is so much of life that I have not lived. there must be something more to life then working and having kids. There must be something greater out there. I just don't know what it is.

For those of you that are into Budhism, I would really like to tell you about the Great Vow Zen Monastary in Clatskanie, OR. It is a great place to learn, or to just find some peace and quite. A walk around the grounds on a nice spring day will totally recharge your batteries. Also, one of the founders has written a very moving and educational book about Jizo Bodhisattva. Jizo is very important in Japanese culture, and is also in other asian coutries, but not as strongly as in Japan. If you get a chance, please visit the monastary, or even just check out there web site. There really doing some great things there, and can use all the support they can get.

Lazy SOB!!!!!!!

Why are we so lazy? Went to a fast food place today, there were five or six cars waiting at the drive through. The counter was empty. So I parked, walked in, got my food, and left. By that time one or two cars had left the drive through, replaced by about 4 new ones. Yet if any of them had pulled there heads out of there asses, they could have actually gotten "fast" food, and a little excerise. Are we really so laze, that we can't break the seal formed by our ever increasing asses and the seat cushion? Heaven forbid we gotta get up. What if we invent a remote control that does everything, press a button and a double whopper poofs into your lap. Never have to get up, except to take a shit, and well hey, lets just get colostomy bags, then we don't even have to waste effort on whipping or squeezing it out. Oh what a perfect world!!!

Ok, if you read my profile, your probably questioning my patriotic spirit, thinking I'm a communist, or something else. So, for my first real post, lets get a little serious. Yes I would move out of this country and never look back with out hesitation. Yes I would happily give up my citizenship and turn my back on everything I call home. Now I know the grass is always greener on the other side of the hill, and all that bull shit, but lets face it, Americans as a group are ASSHOLES!!! We are selfish, self centerted pricks!! We Only help others when it is benificial to us. How often due you get cut off in traffic? Do you ever wonder why that person is in such a hurry, maybe there a doctor going to a emergency pubic hair transplant, who knows, but lets face it, its because deep down, that person feels that there more important then you. They would never admit it, but that is the underlieing reason. My time is more valuable then yours! Now I know there are people out there that give with out hesitation and are trully wonderful people, and I thank god they are hear, then I ask, why are the rest of you hear??? We, as americans are really looked down upon by the rest of the country. Are they right? Maybe, but if you ever spend time with a family from another country, you see what a beatiful life could really be like. A world were family and friends is more important then the new car, or the big screen TV. Were sitting down to speak with your family members is a treat, not a chore you try to dodge. World peace, in my personal expertise only, will never be possable as long as america is around. Atleast in its current form. Now I'm sure you all think I'm a nut, but look around, think about your actions, the people around you. The asshole that cut you off in traffic, just to beat the other guy to the drive through window at McD's. Lets face fact, lets all say it together, I'm a american, and I am a selfish prick!
